We’re officially Orthodox Christians!  We were chrismated tonight at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church by Fr. Jim Dokos.  Adeline screamed like a banshee!  Well, she wasn’t that loud.  She also received her first communion as Matthew and I received our first communion in the Orthodox Church.  It was beautiful.

On the far left in the picture is our sponsor, Michael Pagedas.  Michael has done missionary work in Tanzania and intends to go back soon.  We couldn’t think of a better sponsor, and are very grateful to him.

Some of our very dear friends came to see us join the Orthodox Church tonight, and we were so humbled that they came.  They all drove thirty minutes one-way to witness a fifteen minute service.  What blessings you all are to us!

We are overjoyed and so grateful to all of you for your thoughts, prayers and support.  Thank-you.

Congratulations, friends! We so wanted to be there but had out-of-town guests with us. Blessings to you on the journey ahead.
