About the Moores

Matthew

Matthew is a part-time student Nashotah House Seminary in Nashotah, WI while he prepares to attend Holy Cross Orthodox Seminary in aspiration to become a priest in the Greek Orthodox Church.  He spends his days being a stay-at-home Papa, working, and learning..  He spends his free time doting on Jennifer and Adeline, writing for various webzines, and playing Rock Band with his seminary brothers.

Jennifer

Jennifer works part-time at Nashotah House as the Admissions Assistant.  She spends the remaining  hours as Mama to Adeline; changing diapers, playing “Where’s Adeline?”, and reading stories, and finishing her degree in English Language and Literature.  In her free time (all few hours of it a week) she loves to read, blog (as evidenced here), sew, and knit.

Adeline

Adeline is the joy of her parents’ lives.  She loves to run, be read to, slide, give hugs, kisses, and can cut a rug with the best of them.  She adores animals, making messes, and learning sign language along with her words.

The entire Moore family has recently joined the Greek Orthodox Church and is enjoying learning about the rich heritage of the Church.  Matthew and Jennifer especially love to teach Adeline about the love of Christ for her and all of God’s creation.  They look forward to serving God in His church as Matthew pursues ordained ministry.
